Mid-Century Table

I purchased this side table from its original owner and restored it to make it look like it does above. Originally, it was much darker and the finished looked muddy. I enjoyed restoring it because I love working with my hands and this was a temporary outlet. Someday I will have my own studio/ workshop... someday

  2. This was one of my first projects and didn't really know what I was doing yet, not that I'm an expert now or anything.

I used Formby's Furniture refinisher with an abrasive pad. Then I gave the entire table a quick sanding. Unfortunately for me, the legs were made from a different type of wood than the table tops(walnut)so I had to stain the legs with MinWax Wood Finish in walnut. I conditioned the tops with Parker&Bailey Furniture Cream.

I have another project that I recently finished that I will be posting before and after pictures of.
